About This Site

this site is designed to keep our family, friends, and whoever else is interested, up-to-date on where we are and where we're going as we drive around the country as long-haul freight relocation specialists.

while the life of a long haul truck driver isn't really all that glamorous to most people, it allows us to travel all over this beautiful country of ours, see the sights, go to places and see things most will never see all while spending some quality time together. The best part is that we get paid for it all as we're doing it!

About US

Mary is a 25 year old Colorado native. After graduating from high school, Mary received her life and health insurance licenses and settled into a director position for a banquet and catering company in northern Colorado. In May 2005 she returned to school, pursuing her degree in business management and accounting.

After the birth of her second son in February 2007, Mary returned to work as a premium insurance auditor, where she remained until July 2008. At that time, she returned to college for another semester, switching gears to an emphasis in criminal justice. Growing up in a law enforcement family, Mary felt she could find a place for herself in law enforcement and policing. After nursing her husband (boyfriend at the time) through a 20 week police academy and watching his emotional and mental decline through his 20 week FTO training program, she lost heart for the pursuance of the law enforcement career field.

Due to Daryl’s long term love affair with the trucking industry, he was able to provide insight and assistance, that pushed Mary to further research that field. After his help, discussions with other drivers, and reading trucking information on the web, Mary and Daryl decided driving OTR as a team would be an exciting and fulfilling career change for them both.

daryl was born and raised in the greater detroit, mi area where he resided until the ripe age of 19 years old. he left home after he joined the air force on september 24th, 1996 where he went to lackland air force base, tx for basic military training (bmt).

he graduated bmt sometime in november 1996 and immediately went to eglin air force base where he trained in military explosives before being transferred to keesler afb for communications training. shortly after, he went to his first assignment.

daryl arrived in colorado springs, co, where he was assigned to the NORAD/USSPACECOM facility inside cheyenne mountain in may, 1997. he remained there until 2002 when he separated from the air force. during that time he was a communications technician in the command center and a web administrator and graphics designer in the public affairs office.

after leaving the military daryl set his mind on law enforcement as a profession and obtained his bachelors of science degree in criminal justice from colorado technical university. daryl finally broke into the law enforcement field and obtained employment at a metro denver area county sheriff's office as a detentions deputy in may 2006, then moved to the denver area from colorado springs shortly after. daryl remained with the sheriff's department until january, 2008. daryl was then employed by a local police department as a police officer until november 2008 when he dropped out of the law enforcement front to pursue other career options. while he enjoyed his time as an officer and still has a passion towards law and the criminal justice system, it was decided the undue stress on him and the family was just not worthy of the position.

daryl and mary decided that they would follow daryl's dream of 25 years to drive a big rig, and after researching many companies over a weeks time immediatenly contacted their first choice and were given a pre-hire position as longhaul truck drivers. they left for training at the end of november 2008 before being officially hired on with the company a month later, they continue to drive over the road and currently have no plans to stop doing such.
